Ireland Baldwin Defends the Biebers from Haters

Ireland Baldwin reckons that her cousin, Hailey Bieber, is unbothered following an incident at the 2021 Met Gala earlier this week.

At the prestigious event – which coincided with their third wedding anniversary – the model and her husband, singer Justin Bieber, were jeered by fans in attendance who chanted Selena Gomez’s name at them.

The “Yummy” hitmaker previously dated Gomez before he got married in 2018.

A video clip of the chants made its way onto TikTok on Tuesday, 14 September. It included text from the uploader – dubbed @biebervelli – which read: “Selena Gomez fans camped outside the met [sic] trying to ruin Justin and Hailey’s red carpet moment.”

The uploader added “DISGUSTING” in the caption; Baldwin seemingly agreed with their sentiments, writing in the comments section: “They’re one of the happiest and most in love couples I’ve ever gotten the chance to be around. They don’t care about [the haters].”

Other TikTok users also chimed in, calling the whole ordeal “sad” and “disrespectful”.
