Lance Bass is set to become a father … twice over!

On Tuesday, 1 June, the former NSYNC singer and his husband, Michael Turchin, released a horror movie-themed trailer on the former’s TikTok account.

From the sound of babies crying and visuals of two baby carriages, to a faux film title – “Two Buns in the Oven” – it was clear to all that the couple were about to welcome twins of their own.

Speaking to a US media outlet that same day, Bass and Turchin – who have been married since 2014 – confirmed that they are expecting a boy and a girl through surrogacy.

After years of failed in vitro fertilisation attempts, as well as surrogates suffering miscarriages, Bass said: “We were very cautious to get excited … You start planning their future in your head already, but we were so scared because we didn’t want to go through the pain again of losing [our babies].”

With the twins due to arrive in November, the 42-year-old singer and the 34-year-old artist are looking forward to providing a good life for their children.

Turchin gushed: “I just can’t wait for them to have such happy experiences. I am going to get that happiness just by seeing them so happy.”
