Juventus: Marko Pjaca Departs For Italian Shores
Juventus FC coach, Massimiliano Allegri, is making moves to shape a focused first squad ahead of the 2021/22 season, after it was announced that Marko Pjaca would be departing.
On Wednesday, 28 July, the Serie A giants shared the news via a website statement that the 26-year-old winger would be joining Italian club, Torino FC, as part of a loan deal that will run until June next year, with the option of redeeming.
The statement ended off with: “Good luck on this new adventure, Marko!”
Torino’s Twitter account confirmed the news by sharing a photo of the Croatian footballer wearing the team’s shirt, along with the caption: “[The maroon colour] looks good on you, [Pjaca].”
Pjaca spent the previous season with Genoa CFC, racking up three goals and two assists across 35 appearances; the past three seasons also saw his talents loaned out to Schalke 04, Fiorentina and Anderlecht.
