Kylian Mbappe is Heading to Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappe is swapping his Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) shirt for Real Madrid’s after agreeing to join the Spanish club.
According to reports, the 23-year-old French forward is making the move to Los Blancos, and will officially announce the move within the next two weeks.
Although Mbappe has apparently yet to sign the paperwork, sources believe that he will ink a five-year deal worth €25 million a year, which also includes a substantial sign-on bonus.
Mbappe has scored an incredible 116 for 141 games for PSG, whom he joined from Monaco in 2017; once his current contract expires, he will be free to join Real in the summer after turning down a huge renewal deal.
“Real Madrid are confident the terms agreed in the past will be respected, even though he tried to change them a bit when PSG came up with a huge offer of a €150 million signing-on fee,” says football expert Guillem Balague.
“Since then, the things that needed to be finalised are the image rights and other things related to the contract, but Madrid insist the personal terms have been respected.”
