Liverpool to Face Arsenal Without Mane and Henderson
Liverpool could play against Arsenal without their captain, Jordan Henderson, and forward, Sadio Mane, due to injuries suffered during the international break.
The Reds’ skipper made an early return to Liverpool from international duty with England for injury assessment.
Mane also suffered an injury during the first-half of his national team’s World Cup qualifier game against Togo, after hurting his ribs while challenging for a header.
The Senegalese footballer is also waiting for X-ray results to determine the extent of his injury.
Liverpool has had several midfielders sidelined due to injury and Henderson was one of the only two remaining to occupy the position.
Likewise for the club’s forwards, Roberto Firmino is also out with a hamstring injury and Mane’s absence will leave Klopp with limited choices.
The blockbuster clash against Arsenal takes place on Saturday, 20 November 2021.
