Mane to Face Salah in AFCON final

Liverpool forwards, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, are set to go head to head in the African Cup of Nations final on Sunday, 6 February, at Yaounde, Cameroon.

On Thursday, 4 February, Egypt secured their place in the AFCON finals after winning their second leg of the semi-finals on penalties against Cameroon.

Waiting for Captain Salah and his squad is Mane’s Senegal, who had already booked their spot in the final on Wednesday, 2 February.

The battle between two of the Reds’ favourite players has got many people excited about Sunday’s showdown, which will split the club’s fan-base.

Some supporters might have reasons for wanting one Liverpool striker to triumph over the other, whilst others may find it difficult to split their loyalties.
