Megan Fox Slammed for Pushing Friend’s GoFundMe Page

Fans are less than impressed with actress Megan Fox after she encouraged her Instagram followers to donate to a friend’s $30 000 fundraiser, despite having an estimated net worth of around eight million dollars herself.

The 37-year-old model shared a story on Monday, 24 July, encouraging her followers to donate to a fundraiser started by her nail tech, Brittney Boyce, who was seeking help covering the costs of her father’s cancer treatment.

“My friend’s dad was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. If you guys are able to help, please do,” Fox said with a screenshot and a direct link to the GoFundMe page.

Fans of the actress were quick to question why she didn’t cover the bill herself, as some pointed out that her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly – who has an estimated net worth of $25 million – spent the same amount requested on a diamond-encrusted manicure just last year.

To be fair to the starlet, while Fox is not listed as a donor on the GoFundMe page, she may have donated anonymously or directly to her friend. However, that hasn’t stopped people from flocking to Reddit and Twitter, to jump on the Megan-slamming bandwagon.
