Michael Costello: Chrissy Teigen Said My Career Was Over
A US fashion designer has accused Chrissy Teigen of bullying him, which left him feeling suicidal.
Taking to Instagram on Monday evening, 15 June, Michael Costello wrote about having suicidal thoughts and trauma after the 35-year-old model allegedly bullied him in 2014 for supposedly using a racial slur online.
Costello explained: “[Teigen] apparently formed her own opinion of me based on a photoshopped comment floating around the internet [sic].”
He continued: “When I reached out to Chrissy Teigen to communicate that I was the victim of a vindictive cyber slander, and that everything she thought I was is not who I am, she told me that my career was over and that all my doors will be shut from there on.”
The 38-year-old designer added: “I didn’t see the point of living. There was no way I could ever escape from being the target of the powerful elites in Hollywood … I may never be okay, but today, I am choosing to speak my truth.”
Costello’s revelation comes a few hours after Teigen posted a lengthy Instagram apology for her past actions, which were dredged up by model Courtney Stodden last month.
