Molefi Ntseki Gives Scoop on Stellenbosch FC Star
Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Molefi Ntseki, has responded to rumours that the club is targeting Stellenbosch FC midfielder, Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
For the past few weeks, Mthethwa – whose incredible determination and sensational prowess on the pitch have earned him plaudits from fans and critics alike – has reportedly been linked with a move to Chiefs. Plus, he’s apparently landed on the radars of Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu FC.
Speaking to members of the media recently, Ntseki commented on these reports regarding the 28-year-old midfielder.
“I think the most important thing is that whenever you see a good player elsewhere, people will always associate that player with Kaizer Chiefs,” he said. “It’s normal for a team like Kaizer Chiefs to look for quality players to strengthen the team. The name of [Sibongiseni] Mthethwa is doing the rounds about him coming to Chiefs. And there have been other players spoken about coming to Chiefs.”
Ntseki added: “But the most important thing is that he’s a good quality player – we will love to have him anytime, whenever he is available, whenever we have the resources to bring him in because he’s a good player.”
The Premier Soccer League transfer window closes next Friday, 22 September, so we may just see Mthethwa rock up at Naturena yet!
