Mseleku Wives Land Talk Show Hosting Gig
The four wives of polygamist Musa Mseleku are securing the bag after attaining their own talk show.
Mseleku – along with his four wives MaCele, MaYeni, MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe – rose to prominence on the reality show, “Uthando Nesthembu”, after it debuted back in 2018 on Mzansi Magic.
Now, according to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, the ladies have landed their own slot on another popular TV broadcaster.
“Polygamist Musa Mseleku’s wives have scored their own talk show on SABC1,” he revealed on Twitter on Thursday, 13 February. “MaCele, MaYeni, MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe will co-host a 13-part talk show called ‘Igumbi Lamakhosikazi’. Starts in February.”
Tweeps had mixed reactions towards this announcement, with one bemoaning that “independent women” won’t learn anything from watching the show. Another complained: “It’s like they are forcing us to see them everywhere.”
Meanwhile, others have applauded the ladies on their success, with one tweep praising Mseleku for empowering them: “Mseleku has really put his wives in hey [sic]. They’re celebs and now talk show hosts because of him.”
We’ll just have to wait until February to see if “Igumbi Lamakhosikazi” becomes a hit or a miss among the masses.
