Mthokozisi Dube Resurfaces at Another Club
Former Orlando Pirates defender, Mthokozisi Dube, has resurfaced at another Premier League Soccer (PSL) club.
Six months ago, Dube – who had been signed to the Bucs since 2013 and put in 33 appearances for them – was sacked by the club and hasn’t been seen since.
Now, according to reports, the 30-year-old defender was recently spotted training with Royal AM in preparation for their DStv Premiership match-up against Cape Town City FC on 30 December.
Dube is apparently one of a new crop of players who have signed with Thwihli Thwahla: Samkelo Mgwazela, Sibusiso Magaqa and Luckyboy Mokoena. Mgwazela and Magaqa joined from Amazulu FC, while Mokoena was previously in the services of TS Galaxy.
Can Dube and his new team-mates help turn around Royal AM’s fortunes and lead them higher up from their ninth-place ranking on the PSL standings? Guess we’ll have to wait until 30 December to see!
