Pancreatitis Sent Travis Barker to Hospital

The reason for Travis Barker’s being rushed to hospital has been revealed.

It was previously reported that the 46-year-old punk rocker complained of “extreme pain” to the point that he could “barely walk”, prompting his being rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, 28 June.

There, doctors uncovered the source of his pain: an inflamed pancreas – pancreatitis – which was likely triggered by a recent colonoscopy.

A source close to Barker claims that he is “doing better” and is expected to make a complete recovery after an evening of hospitalisation; and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, was by his side throughout the ordeal.

The incident brought an outpouring of well-wishes, including from his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, and their daughter, 16-year-old Alabama, with the latter sharing an Instagram Story asking her followers: “Please send your prayers.”
