Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan Bare All in Oprah Interview
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have got people talking after they spoke with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday, 28 February.
The CBS broadcast network interview – which is expected to air this Sunday, 7 March – is the first televised sit-down chat that the couple have given since they moved to California, USA, in June last year.
They shocked the world when they reneged on their royal duties – widely publicised as “Megxit” – in early January of the same year.
Two 30-second clips have been released as sneak peeks, revealing the 36-year-old Duke of Sussex’s telling Winfrey: “My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”
The Duke is apparently referring to the 1997 car accident in Paris, France, that took the life of his mother, Princess Diana – who was continuously harassed by the British press after she divorced Prince Charles.
His 39-year-old wife is seen seated next to him, holding his hand, and is also visibly pregnant with their second child.
More details are expected to emerge as the week progresses.
