Real Madrid Signs Kylian Mbappe!

Footballing superstar Kylian Mbappe is joining 15-time UEFA Champions League (UCL) winners, Real Madrid.

In a statement posted on their website on Monday, 3 June, Los Blancos confirmed that Mbappe had joined the Spanish club from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), for whom he won 15 titles and scored 256 goals over a seven-year period.

According to reports, the 25-year-old French forward signed a five-year contract worth €15 million a year.

Once his PSG contract expires on 30 June, he will officially join the UCL champions on a free transfer on 1 July.

Also on Monday, Mbappe shared pics of himself in his new soccer kit to Twitter/X. He also expressed his happiness about joining Real:

“A dream come true. Very happy and proud to be part of the club of my dreams [Real Madrid]. It’s impossible to explain how happy and excited I feel right now. I can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thank you for your incredible support. Go Madrid!”
