Sekhukhune Sign Andy Boyeli
Sekhukhune United have acquired a new player in the form of Andy Boyeli.
In a statement posted on Thursday, 20 June, Sekhukhune confirmed the following:
“The Congolese goal ace joins Babina Noko on a three-year contract and is expected to arrive in Johannesburg early next week to join his new team-mates for pre-season, having spent the break in his native country.”
Sekhukhune beat out the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns to secure the signature of Boyeli, who had been plying his trade for Zambian outfit, Power Dynamos.
Details regarding the 23-year-old forward’s salary are unknown, although Sekhukhune did “thank the Board of Directors at Dynamos for the professional manner in which the negotiations for the transfer of Boyeli were handled.”
Boyeli scored eight goals for Dynamos in the Zambian Super League last season, plus he netted three goals across four CAF Champions League appearances.
Here’s hoping he can boost Babina Noko to new heights in the upcoming Premier Soccer League season!
