“The Bachelorette” Stars Split Up

The romance between “The Bachelorette” stars Qiniso van Damme and Gareth Ehret may be over, but at least their friendship remains intact.

Appearing on the reality dating show together in 2021, Van Damme gifted Ehret – the last man out of 22 men – the final rose of the season. Since then, they were the definition of a couple in love.

That is, until Tuesday, 16 January, when Van Damme tweeted out that they were no longer together.

“I am so thankful for the years Gareth and I have shared together, for having loved and been loved so beautifully, and so fully. 

“Our love was real and special and will always remain so,” the 33-year-old model and TV personality wrote. “We have chosen to share this love with each other as friends.”

Van Damme continued, indicating that she and Ehret had actually called it quits a few months ago: “We shared a deeply special chunk of our lives together. I’m glad to have had the last few months to heal and grow. I am sorry to those who heard church bells, to those who believed with their hearts that this was on life. We both hoped so, too.”

Here’s hoping they both will find happiness again in the near future!
