“The Wife” Cast, Fans Bid Farewell to Zikhona Sodlaka
Zikhona Sodlaka has earned a lot of plaudits from colleagues and fans alike after making her exit from “The Wife”.
One week after burying her on-screen husband Nqoba (played by Abdul Khoza), Sodlaka – who portrays Mandisa – is leaving “The Wife”, and she gave a magnificent performance to remember by delivering some fateful words to Hlomu (Mbalenhle Mavimbela) before shooting herself.
Co-stars and fans gave the actress her flowers and took the time to say goodbye to her.
“I want to thank you for the amazing job you did on the show,” Khoza shared his tribute with a media outlet. “As one of the most acclaimed actresses I know, you always give your best. Your work speaks for itself. It was an honour having worked so closely with you.”
“It’s been such a great honour to work with Zikhona and I’ve learnt so much from her,” says Kwenzo Ngcobo (Qhawe Zulu). “She has left a great mark and taught us so much.”
“Mandisa is an absolute fave. The show would definitely not be the same without her,” tweeted @sup3rsun.
“We bow down a [sic] whole Queen and we stan,” tweeted @zah02. “What a talent.”
Goodbye, Ms Sodlaka, and good luck on your future endeavours!
