Unpacking the “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Trailer

The official teaser trailer for the upcoming “Spider-Man” film has dropped, and it features a plethora of familiar faces!

Debuting on Monday, 23 August, the trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” carries on after the events of the 2019 prequel, “Far From Home”, in which the identity of Spider-Man – Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland – is revealed to the world.

With the help of Doctor Strange – played by Benedict Cumberbatch – Parker seeks to bend reality so that his identity remains a secret. Unfortunately, this results in multi-dimensional shenanigans.

These include the return of the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus – portrayed by Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina, respectively – both of whom starred in the 2000s “Spider-Man” film series by Sam Raimi.

Jamie Foxx also reprises his role as Electro, who starred in 2014’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”.

Will Parker be able to right reality and save the day? All questions will (hopefully) be answered once “Spider-Man: No Way Home” debuts on 17 December.
