DJ Dimplez Speaks Out on Sex Scandal

DJ Dimplez has broken his silence following his alleged involvement in a sex scandal.

Earlier this week, a 21-year-old event hostess named Mamdirah “Kinky” Diakoumpa claimed on social media that she is pregnant with the “Yaya” hitmaker’s child following a one-night stand at a Sandton hotel in March.

To support her claims, Diakoumpa posted screenshots of private messages that they allegedly exchanged on Instagram. They show that she wants to keep the child despite the music producer’s request for an abortion.

However, the screenshots also show Dimplez – real name Tumi Mooi – accusing her of sexually violating him, and that he planned to open a case against her.

In a statement released via Twitter on Wednesday, 26 May, Dimplez said that for legality’s sake, he will “not address the matter any further, on social media or any other public platform. Nor am I at liberty to do so, as the matter is before the relevant authorities.”

Nevertheless, he thanked those who have “reached out and offered their support and words of encouragement during this time.”
