Drake Seeks Restraining Order Against Stalker
Drake is seeking to obtain a temporary restraining order against a woman who has been allegedly stalking him since 2017.
Last Thursday, 3 March, the 35-year-old “TSU” rapper filed for a restraining order against Mesha Collins, a 29-year-old woman who has a long history of run-ins with him: after being arrested for breaking into Drake’s Californian home in 2017, Collins was arrested three separate times for repeatedly trespassing on his property.
“She has sent messages saying she wishes me dead, and that I should shoot myself and my son with a bullet,” state Drake’s court documents, referring to his four-year-old son Adonis.
“As a result of Ms Collins’ harassment and obsession with me, I have suffered and continue to suffer emotional distress and am concerned for my safety and that of my family.”
The documents further state that he wants her to stay at least 100 yards from him, his son, his parents and his lawyer.
Drake’s filing comes a month after Collins attempted to revive her recent $4 billion lawsuit against the rapper – in which she claimed he defamed her after invading her privacy by sharing private information on Instagram – but it was dismissed by a judge.
