Top PSL Clubs Target Young Africans Star
At least three Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs are interested in signing Young Africans player, Stephane Aziz Ki.
Per recent reports, Aziz Ki has caught the eye of Orlando Pirates, who are looking to strengthen their attack.
Reigning PSL champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, are also said to be keen on the 28-year-old midfielder, who impressed coach Rhulani Mokwena with his performance during Sundowns’ CAF Champions League match against Yanga last Friday, 5 April.
The third outfit allegedly vying for Aziz Ki’s signature is Sekhukhune United, “who won’t sit and watch when a good player is made available for a transfer”, according to a club insider.
However, in an interview with a local soccer outlet (on Wednesday, 10 April), Aziz Ki revealed that his heart still belongs to Young Africans.
“I have no expectations of leaving Yanga at the moment because I have not achieved the goals that brought me here,” he said. “This club, which I love with all my heart, still owes me, and even money cannot fill the love I have for this club.”
Still, at least Aziz Ki knows he has other options available to him – it’s just a matter of picking the right fit!
