United Edging Closer to Making Official Varane Transfer Announcement

Manchester United are reportedly set to welcome Real Madrid defender, Raphael Varane, in Old Trafford this week, following intensified negotiations over a €45 million deal.

The Red Devils have already agreed terms with the top-rated 28-year-old French international, who is keen to leave Madrid in search of a new challenge.

Varane had already reported for pre-season training at Real Madrid, however, he is said to have now made travelling arrangements to Manchester.

Although Los Blancos would have loved to keep Varane, the player hasn’t renewed his contract, which then forced the club to get into talks with Man United.

The negotiations have gained momentum and the two teams are now filling out the final paperwork, with Real Madrid set to bank €45 million, which could be used to sign Kylian Mbappe.
